I. Board Member Attendees:

Marshall Vanderburg, Cindy Snalam, Jerry Guida, Linda MacIntyre, Andy Gorchov, Brenda Vasquez, Ann Hershfeldt

II. Meeting Minutes

February board meeting minutes were reviewed and unanimously approved.

III. Financial Report and Reconciliation

Jerry provided financial reconciliation reports for January and February dated 3/03 for review and approval. Motion was made to approve and was unanimously voted.

$ 186.94 balance at end of January

$ 1017.66 balance after February.

33 paid members as of end of February.

1099’s have been sent out.

Marshall made note of Cory Van Ry from VQ Hotel – contribution of $ 320. A “thank you” card was signed by board members which will be sent to Cory. (more…)

2013 Planning Meeting

January 9, 2013

Attendance: Marshall Vanderburg, Andy Gorchov, Linda MacIntyre, Cindy Snalam, Jerry Guida and Brooke Bailey

After much discussion, the following activities and responsibilities were confirmed.

Federal Business Improvement District (FBID): Marshall, Jerry and Brooke to have responsibility. Key first step is working with the FBID to hire a part-time Executive Director (search committee meeting Jan 10). FBID work program involves opening a district office, providing small business and economic development services, pursuing a branding and marketing plan and development a maintenance plan. Also need to finish closing out 2012 OED grant and gear up for new contract with city for 2013 grant. (more…)

I. Bank Account & Membership Status

• Jerry distributed bank reconciliation report for October 2012. $ 562.72 total in checking account. The board unanimously approved the reconciliation report.
• General discussion on the partnership’s annual operating budget. Jerry will compile annual costs for last 5 years.
• Discussed adding new potential members to mailing list for future information.

II. BID Project Update

• Federal BID was awarded a 10k grant – will cover legal fees.
• 2nd Board meeting scheduled for next Tuesday. Board will receive agenda prior to the meeting but meeting will primarily be to review budget. Last meeting was focused primarily on administrative elements. (more…)
