Who We Are

Bringing together a better future

The Federal Boulevard Partnership was formed in 2005 by local Federal business and community interests to fulfill the mission to improve health and safety, accessibility, sustainability and economic vitality along Federal Boulevard, while preserving its cultural diversity and historic character. Our vision for the “Boulevard” is one of Denver’s main streets where people live, work, and play in a clean and safe pedestrian friendly environment that embraces cultural, social, and economic diversity. This is accomplished by:

  • Promoting mixed use development in conjunction with historical preservation
  • Improving transit, vehicular and pedestrian movement
  • Providing Community Development initiatives that support our vision
  • Enhancing the visual appeal of the Boulevard

How we’re organized

As the name implies, the Partnership is a true collaboration of businesses and residential individuals who live and do business along the Boulevard but also includes representatives of neighborhood organizations who border the Boulevard such as the Sloan’s Lake Citizen’s Group, Villa Park Neighborhood Association, Jefferson Park United Neighbors, West Highlands Neighborhood Association, and more. The Partnership is a membership organization with annual dues of $10 individual and family, and $20 for business representatives.

The Partnership board numbering seven to 11 members meets monthly on the third Thursday, normally at 6:00 PM. Find our upcoming meetings on the Home Page Partnership Calendar. The Partnership manages several ongoing projects including the Federal BID, streetscape efforts, adapting Federal parkway setback requirements to better serve residential and business interests, participating in the Federal Light Rail planning effort including planing for the removal of the Federal/Colfax cloverleaf, and other projects and activities consistent with the Partnership’s mission.

In addition, the Partnership sponsors several public community membership meetings per year to inform and educate community members about existing topical activities and act on issues of importance to the Boulevard community.

The Partnership is a Denver Registered Neighborhood Organization with the following boundaries: W. 6th Ave south, W. 52nd Ave north, Irving west and Decatur east except for area area around Invesco Field at Mile High where the easter boundary extends to Bryant St.
